AggieDave 6 #26 October 9, 2003 QuoteShit dave, I shook your hand at Eloy this year. I'm actually kind of suprised that you threw the hook out there about the bonfire. Sorry, I just really get touchy this time of year. Ok, I lost my temper on this thread, I'm walking away now. I don't do well with these sorts of "discussions" this time of year. Take care bro, hopefully next time we meet, we'll be able to jump together...although our discussion of 7-cell vs. 9-cell canopies was enjoyable in Eloy.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." TequilaGirl 0 #30 October 9, 2003 AggieDave - you lose your temper in a lot of threads....several with me - regarding harmless ribbing....you really need to lighten up a bit - and I do want to thank you for sharing your school traditions - being that I went to Tech beginning in 1991 - I never knew any of your schools traditions...since I never considered going to A&M. That si funny, Cuz I moved from Lubbock (Where I thought he was an ass) to Indiana where I still think he is an ass but most rever him as a god. I cant believe in all this aggie bashing (Torn because I went to TTU and TAMU) No one has brought up the fact the the aggies have been caught cheating so many times....How many years were they banned from any televised bowl games for player infractions??? While we are on the topic of Traditions...Tech has some strange ones too...Hummmmmm much like skydiving...They like to be NAKED.... Both schools are cool as hell! The parties are unbelievable, and TEXAS WOMEN...Surely both can agree that TEXAS WOMEN are the finest in the nation! AggieDave 6 #34 October 9, 2003 I know I sent this in PM, but I wanted to share this here as well, hopefully to explain whats going on a bit better. I am sorry that happens (loosing my temper). With me, it brings up very vivid and very bad memories, especially with people from Tech. I know it wasn't you, but in the past 4 years I've heard some very unappropiate comments from Tech folks about Bonfire, the 12 that died and that hits too close to home. Thus, when stuff like this starts up, those images come back, and I tend to loose it. This is something that I've actually seen a pshycologist about, I was actually on some heavy anti-depressents for a while due to it...when stuff comes up, it brings back some very vivid, very horrible images and memories from that night and the following days. I know that is no excuse, but I did want to apologize and I did want to try to explain myself. Overall, I am a gentle and caring person, this is just one demon I haven't been able to defeat.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." Zlew 0 #35 October 9, 2003 Texan girls are great...but I have to give my Raider girls a big high five. I"ve been to colleges all over the country, and nobdy can get close to the girls out there in Lubbock. I love Bobby... he took red raider basketball to something that nobody knew anything about on campus (excpet for the girls b ball team), to a *game selling out team. QuoteAs lond as both of you argee that Aggies and Raiders BOTH are better than Longhorns! I wouldn't go that far...hehe I root for the horns after they have played Tech in the season. We all need the purple hair and left wingers to keep us balanced right? hehe. Z

jumper03 0 #40 October 9, 2003 QuoteMaybe, but atleast the girls at tech are not hmm.... what is the word I am looking for STUCK UP I ain't been gone that long. They were always really friendly to me (more so than many other places I've been). 'course, I didn't wait for them to come to me because I ain't no looker. But, once I opened my mouth and they all said "WHERE are you from?" then I had'em It's bad when people in Tx say that. Even better was first time in Boston. Friends took me to a bar and the locals were buying me drinks just to hear me talk. Hey, you buying, I'm talking!! Zlew 0 #41 October 12, 2003 Looks like you guys took out your frustrations on Baylor. Those poor guys, they went from thinking they were kicking butt when they took out Colorado, and then get rocked (and give up over 70pts...) the next week....and now they are just well...they're just Baylor again! hehe Oh yea, also wanted to let you guys know that I found the dumbest guy on E-bay. Most tickets for the UT OU blowout were going 750-900 bucks a ticket just before the game. I found the guy who messed up his auction by making it end about 3 hours into the game. There goes at least a grand down the drain! How is it that North Texas made TV today and Tech didn't.... I just don't get it! Z
