lawrocket 3 #9 October 15, 2003 Sky: You know, I dislike propoganda of any sort. Some of that is factual, such as the anti-civil liberties actions of the Patriot Act. These problems are also in headlines all over the place, and have been for months! Some of the stories, like "#1: The Neoconservative Plan for Global Dominance" bear a striking resemblance to such de-bunked, yet commonly used diatribe, as the "Protocols of the Elders of Zion," which is used heavily by bigots in singling out Jews for hatred and animosity. Not only was this stuff not censored, some is dangerous. Anyone educated knows about depleted uranium. Stories of the US involvement in Taliban Massacre sound like the "censored" stories of the Iraqi Information Minister. Sigh... My wife is hotter than your wife. My substance remark was meant towards the faithful stewards of "projectcensored.org" who state all this censorship, yet cite examples of coverage in the Baltimore Sun, The Sunday Herald, LA Times ad infinitum. kiltboy 0 #23 October 15, 2003 Are you really a QPR fan? I never knew they existed. I think a fair bit of the BBC coverage stems from the old world service broadcasting to the Empire and the Colonies, therefore a world view is taken. Fox did report the Nobel prizes as they are a newsworthy story (on Friday) it was merely an editorial decision that other news would be of more interest to its viewers on Tuesday. Seems fair to me and quite a bit different to undereporting a domestic story that would be of interest to the US electorate. So anyway why is Nomar not batting in many runs in the ACLS?
