Oh for just a little adrenaline.....

Recommended Posts

Seems the "cooties" are being spread around the DZ the last few weeks and finally found me >:(...DAMN IT to all hell.

Nyquil just makes me have crazy dreams, Tylenol Cold is worthless, and if I take another Excedrin Migraine I think I might turn into one....Been trying handfuls of vitamins a couple times a day but not sure they are doing anything other than making my tummy upset.

I have this sinking feeling that one little jump from about 13,500 might cure all these aches and pains.
Anyone else ever had a jump "cure what ales ya"?

Can somebody come play with me this weekend :o...PAAAAALEEEEEEEZE!

NOt if your sick there girlie. It is definitely not healthy. There are plenty of other days to jump.

Anyway, I will be out of town this weekend. When you feel better theough you could always scoot over to this side and have a great day.

Get better and stay on the ground until you feel better. As far as a cure is concerned I used to take some NyQuill and then two beers and two shots of SOCO and goto bed. It always worked for me in the ARMY.

Eat lotsa peanut butter and drink orange juice. I swear it will make you better. But don't jump if you're not feeling good. I've been grounded before due to a nasty ear infection i got jumping while sick. I was lucky i didn't rupture my ear drum. Dr. grounded me for 3 weeks til it was cleared up. Jumping while you're "stuffy" is just not smart. Take care of yourself!!

Rest, medicate, hydrate, GET BETTER!!!

I wasn't going to jump again until the bytch boogie, but then I remembered....

I meant to order a tonysuit from Lisa and forgot all about it before I went home. I should probably do that this weekend, oh, yes, and what do you know? I have to be at the DZ to do that! Well, might as well get a jump in while I'm there...:)
Since I'm making the trip solo, it'll be nice to see another familiar face there! So, get better, okay?!!

Thanks everyone......It's not an ear ache, just an annoying little cold that gives me a head-ee-ache! I know all about the pressure thing so no worries there - my 3rd tandem I had an ear infection that was just about better but I still had pressure......yet went anyway. Not again...thank goodness it was an awesome sunset to distract me.

Just always seems if I am sick or in a pissy mood, simple thoughts of being in the sky make things a teeny bit better ;)

Hugs to all....hope the cootie bug doesn't find you!

So here's the deal: don't call in sick until the first day you are feeling better, then tell them it just got immeasurably worse. then slink away and do whatever your little heart desires. As for how to get better? I can never remember what I did that turned the tide when I'm sick. Hope that helps. :P

Trust me my friend, it will be an ear ache by about 4000 feet if your head is clogged. JUST TRUST ME, ok ok, just trust me this one time;)

Here's what I do when that sort of thing hits me fast (about 1/2 hour before you're ready to sleep):

1) Find two extra strength tylenol

2) Find two maximum strength sudafed

3) Take all four pills with a fast shot of Nyquil (not the Dayquil, not the cherry red stuff, it has to be the "death-fuckin'-green-flavor").

4) Chase it quickly with a shot a tequila (in a pinch you can substitute some JD).

When you wake up in the morning, you should be good to go, but toss back a couple huge vitamin C pills with a glass of orange juice to keep it from coming back.

HOLY SHIT with that "remedy" mentioned above.........although someone else shared a similar concoction [:/]

I won't do anything silly cause I don't want to NOT BE JUMPING any longer then I have to be...did that make sense? So if my head is clogged I'll sit it out - promise! ;)

And to PheonixFire........thanks for the smile my friend and keep thinking them happy thoughts!:)
