skytash 0 #1 October 17, 2003 I'm coming over to Z-hills for 2 months (Yeah!) in November & December and would like to have a car while I'm there. I've checked out car rental places, and many of the big companies don't rent cars out for that length of time and even if I split it into two rental it comes to around $1,000. I would be happy to buy a crappy old car for the two months if it comes in cheaper once insurance and everything is covered. Does anyone in the Z-hills area know of any cheap old battered cars or second hand dealers or even local car rental places where I wouldn't have to pay airport surcharges etc? I can't seem to find anything useful on the net, so any help would be appreciated. tashDon't ever save anything for a special occasion. Being alive is a special occasion. I haven't been able to get that shirt for you yet, as they aren't in the store till later in the season. Maybe by the time the 140 ways come around I'll be able to get my hands on one. Oh, need to get back on track with this thread. What I would suggest, is waiting till you get to Florida, get a newspaper and look under the "for sale" stuff. skytash 0 #4 October 17, 2003 CrayIvan - I don't fancy transporting my grocery shopping (well a box of Florida Grapefruit!) on a bike, nor using a bike to get to the other DZ's in the area! Mar - the paper is a good idea, I'll do that if I don't find anything before I go. Don't worry about the shirt, it can wait until the 140 ways.
