Geeks, I need your help

Recommended Posts

I have been battleing this for some time now and I can't figure out the fix.
Windows 98, 56k, dial up, :( Outlook express, ...
I keep getting an error on EVERYTHING I try to get into (off line) that eventually lets me get to that program, and it says:
Explorer invalid page fault in module VT common.DLL
AT017f:0315C45f
registers EAX,EBX,ECX ECT...
Where can I go to find the fix for this? It's driving me nuts!
Thanks for any help.[:/]

I wouldnt re-install yet. Common.dll is installed as part of winamp3 on my system..if you have that program try removing it and reinstalling it first,

If that doesnt work, do a search on your hard drive for that file and see where it pops up, if its under a folder for a specific program try reinstalling that program, if its under a windows system folder (i.e. \windows\system or \system32) then try and find a copy on the net (i think that file is used to access databases so it should fuck anything up if you delete it...i hope B|)

If that fails then re-install

Cheers
