plummeteer 0 #1 October 20, 2003 A divorced/single Father of a 12 year old boy who is also a Skydiver/TM/Friend at Mo. River Valley Skydivers is missing, under what are suspecious circumstances. Friday around 7PM he called to tell (whoever had his son) that he'd be there in 15 min. to pick him up for their weekend together, he never showed up and hasn't been seen or heard from since. His bro. went to his home and found his truck was gone, the lights in the house were on, the dog was in the house (usually outside if away for periods of time). Giving every indication he would be gone for a short time. He checked all routes that might have been taken and checked any large ditchs and culverts one could get lost in, to no avail. He was scheculed to TM Sat., didn't show, didn't call. All family and friends are very worried. Police have been notified, but no info. back from them if they have any. This guy would NOT leave his Son waiting for their time together, willingly. I don't think it right to state his name with all of the unanswered questions. If anyone thinks they may know him, and would like to find out, for their peace of mind if is who they know, I will give a yes/no answer if they E-mail me. plummeteer@hotmail.com. I will describe his missing truck, as it is one a skydiver might notice, in hopes that someone may have seen it in K.C. or the Midwest in the last 48 hours. It is a mid- 90's dark blue Chevy S-10 and has a large (4 to 6" letters) 1-800-skydive on the rear window, last time I saw it, about 2 weeks ago he still had a black tool box mounted in the bed. I hope if anyone has seen it they will call the K.C.,MO police, or e-mail me. My prayers are with his family, especially his Son, that he is found or turns up safe and sound. Most of the KC crowd that I know was at bridge day this weekend, I'm sure they have all been notified and will lend a hand with helping locate our missing friend. blue skies Chris and Ashley_________________________________________ all good things are wild and free - Henry David Thoreau

bch7773 0 #9 October 20, 2003 I'm sorry to hear about this, and I don't want to make you think the worst but.... someone in my town had nearly the same thing happen to them... a father of three kids disapeared one evening. They heard nothing for three months, then some poor kid was walking near a river that ran next to a road and found a car in it. Turns out the guy just accidently went off the road into the river and nobody ever checked it. so check any bridges or rivers next to roads in his area. don't just drive by... but pull over and take a good look. let us know how this turns out.
