jtval 0 #1 October 19, 2003 OOoohhh I got some chiropractic acupuncture done yesterday (for the 2nd time!) Damn that feels so much better. so what is youre take on it? I was curious the first time i went ( a year ago) and it helped alot. after climbing both days last weekend and sleeping in a weird position, lifting heavy stuff at work etc I needed another alignment. first the adjust your spine then that hook you up with needles in the sore muscles/ pinched nerves then they shoot electricity though those needles.......MMM that shit works wonders. My photos My Videos
CrazyIvan 0 #2 October 19, 2003 Yup...it works, when I was younger, I had a severe case of stress due to working too much, it drained all my energy, after the first session, I was practically cured.__________________________________________ Blue Skies and May the Force be with you. jtval 0 #7 October 19, 2003 LOL no worries! I think there are two diff kindsa acupunture. the traditional- where you get 1000 needles stricking inyou and the vibration works them as needed and the Chiropractic- as I discribed. Im curious about the traditional style too. dont know if it really exists in that form today!( only saw it in movies and you know how the media can hollywood-ize things)My photos My Videos
CrazyIvan 0 #8 October 19, 2003 QuoteIm curious about the traditional style That's the one I had, well...not thousands but I'd say at least a dozen needles all over my body__________________________________________ Blue Skies and May the Force be with you. jtval 0 #9 October 19, 2003 the one I went to only uised what they needed! the first time I went they only needed 2(pinched nerve) this time they used about 9 and used four as electrodes. 2- in my lower back/upper buttocks and 2 on that same nerve I feel so much better too. but the spinal adjustment was the start of it all!My photos My Videos

NoShitThereIWas 0 #11 October 19, 2003 Some people think chiropractors are a bunch of crap too, but I swear by mine. Chiropractors have helped me to successfully heal from injuries at amazing speeds of recovery.Roy Bacon: "Elvises, light your fires." Sting: "Be yourself no matter what they say." skytash 0 #12 October 19, 2003 I've had the one you call chiropractic from my physio - it is fantastic! The only other thing which sorts my back out as well as those needles do is skydiving and neither the NHS nor BUPA seem interested in paying for my jumptickets but BUPA does pay for the needles tashDon't ever save anything for a special occasion. lawrocket 3 #16 October 20, 2003 Yeah, I had it for my knee. My mom was raving about how good this guy was, so I decided "What could it hurt?" Dr. Lam told me it might not help much, if at all, since he did a bit of workup and asked the symptoms. He was right. It didn't help at all. But I liked the guy. He was honest. Oh, well.
