That looks like a sweat setup for the right person (which I am not, as it's way too small for me). And you should be able to get at least 3k for it (likely more depending on location as BillVon mentioned). But you really need to qualify the potential buyer(s) as in the wrongs hands, it's a potentially deadly rig.

Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

>Pretty much a 5k rig going for 3.5ish...

Basically, yeah. As soon as you buy it you lose about 30% of the value. It's not that it's suddenly worth less, it's that people are willing to pay 30% more to get _exactly_ what they want, rather than getting someone else's discarded design.

Its not new, its not the buyer's custom colours, what did you expect???

I bid $1, plus a book on economics.

:P

$2.50, plus two never worn XL tee-shirts.
...

The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.

$5, a book on economics, two never worn XL tee-shirts and a fifth of really low-quality rum.

You have to remember too, that the point for most people spending thousands on a new rig is not only the custom design but the fit. This one was made to fit you, so it was worth 5k, it wasn't made to fit the taker, so it's worth less.

Apparently, considerably less.:D

$10, one sweatshirt actually worn on the completed 300-way, 10 videotapes of bad RW, and 250 old cassette tapes of 70's and 80's music.

OOooooh, you don't really want that rig do you? I'll trade you all my pride, self respect and hearing ability for those cassette tapes...

Hell, I'll even throw in my dignity and any chance of ever getting laid again, for good measure.

WAIT...I want the 80's stuff for my next class reunion.

You can keep the rig...I wouldn't give you two pennies.[:/] Sorry, but I know my limitations.
