Eventually anything uploaded to one will end up on the other. I think we might designate leroy's server as the upload server because of issues with the other server. Right now, I cant seem to upload to it though. I think something is just set wrong. So, unless you've got an internet-only phone line that you can leave connected all night, i'd say 13 megs is more than you probably want to try uploading on dialup. C'mon, someone out there must have high speed access you can borrow for a few mins! edit: eh, i take it back. If all goes well, it should upload in around an hour. pilotdave 0 #33 October 22, 2003 Ok, easiest way: using internet explorer, go to: ftp://ftp.skydivingmovies.com/uploads. Now, you'll want the video copied to your hard drive (uploading off the CD will probably be slower). I'd just copy and paste it to the desktop so its easy to get to. Then just drag and drop it right into the internet explorer window. It should start to upload. In other words, just treat internet explorer just like its a folder on your own hard drive. After the upload is finished, you won't be able to download the file from there. I'll have to move it to another folder first. Let me know if that makes sense to ya! I've done this 4 times. At least, whatever I'm doing wrong, I'm doing it consistently wrong. And what version of windows are you running? win 98, xp, etc? If you go to ftp://ftp.skydivingmovies.com, do you see the public and uploads folders? when you open public, you should see lots of folders... uploads should be empty. Lets start there... Upload is copying a file from your PC or peripherals (CD ROMS DVD'S) to a web site or server. What the people are trying to tell you here is that you need to open the ftp site of skydiving movies, go to where you have the file at, select to copy this very file that contains the movie, and paste it in the website server (ftp://www.skydivingmovies.com/) However, your internet connection will not help. Do you have a friend with cable modem or DSL or faster internet connection than your dial up? If not, why don't you send the CD to a person who you will trust and have them do it for you?
