Gawain 0 #1 October 27, 2003 American Eagle flight from LGA (LaGuardia) to DCA (Reagan National, Wash DC) is sitting in a corner of the tarmac awaiting an update on weather/congestion hold over DC... The plane is packed/! Im on my PDA sitting with about 40 others on a Regional Jet (Embraer ?) ...in the dark...no engines...only the APU humming to give us power... I can see Riker's Island out my window. Perhaps we'll be off the ground in an hour...*phooey* So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! Gawain 0 #3 October 27, 2003 Yeah I know -.-. There's still plenty of security driving around the Pentagon too! Driving through there yesterday was a trip. This was a trip from some training in VA to surprise my sister on her birthday this weekend .-- it worked she was waaay surprised. So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! sundevil777 102 #4 October 27, 2003 It is very naughty to not follow the instructions of the attendants, didn't they tell you to put away all portable electronic devices when the door was closed?People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am

Gawain 0 #6 October 27, 2003 Well the pilot gave us permission...[;P] Latest update: Still in NY, now back at the gate. But they're determined to get us into DC so we're waiting...longer...in the plane. This was originally a 7pm flight. The line is that DC ATC is having an equipment failure. Personally, I don't buy it.So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light!
