Flu Shot, should I get one?

Since getting the Pneumonia shot I haven't had it....and I get the flu about once a year now since I started getting the shot.

The company I work for, decided to offer flu shots for free this year, to all employees, if they want. They probably figured it would be less costly to them than risk having 3000 employees on sick leave.

I guess you need to look at your own health history. Does it seem like you get sick every year? Is it bad? If so, get the shot. If not, why bother?

You think getting them in the 9th grade is bad...My mom didn't get the chicken pox until I got them at daycare when I was four years old! Let me tell you that both hers and mine were horriable. I had them everywhere inside my mouth and under my eyelids.

I get the flu shot because I had heard that it protects you from the really bad string of flu virus that supposably this year is deadly. Now it is just something I heard on the news and half the time the news is BS, but my doctor says that since I am annemic and have a heart murmer and low blood sugar I should get one, and so I am.

Me say no! But its probably too late now. I only get sick once in a blue moon. Exercise, eating right, a good vitamin, and a good souce of Vitamin C during peak season will do ya wonders. REally the only times Ive been sick is when Ive run myself down, partying, not sleeping, or stress.
