I just had to tell this freaky story

Recommended Posts

I work in San Bernardino, which is right in the middle of 2 big fires. Anyway, I am leaving work at 0500 after 14 hours of hell. I was tired and driving slow in the right lane of a 35 mph 4 lane road in a shopping center. I saw a car in the far right lane (my lane) coming right at me head on! I swerved and missed the car by a foot or so. The oncoming car took no evasive action. It was really close.
After I made sure I didnt crap my pants, I turned around to confront the drunk (as any good Texan would) and possibly beat the shit out of him.
The oncoming car had turned into a parking lot and was sitting there in a spot with the lights on. In front of the car in the bushes, was a mexican man beating the hell out of something with a claw hammer. Im thinking, this isn't a drunk, it is some methed out tweaker killing his dealer!!!!! I sat there with my brights shining on him from 30ft and he never even looked my way. I then noticed someone in the car. The person in the car got out, and it was some old black lady that stumbled like she was drunk and she didnt even notice the guy in front of her car still beating thee crap out of something.
I pulled around the corner, rolled down my window to talk to the lady and she ignored me. There was another lady outside and I asked her if she was drunk.
"Por Que" was the answer. I then noticed the Dialasys Clinic sign and realized she must have been low on blood sugar, not drunk.
I called the CHP and they came and ensured that her daugter would drive her home.
The Mexican guy turned out to be a gardner, I still have no idea why he was beating the bushes with a claw hammer at 0500 along with 3 of his buddies.
I had no idea that diabetics could be so dangerous and ...well...it was just a freaky ass morning and I had to tell someone....Oh yeah, the ashes were an inch deep on my car too.....These fires are unbelieveable.
