Computer Question

I am looking to buy a new laptop. I have a choice of either getting a P4 2.2Ghz or a new Pentium M Centrino with 1.4Ghz. Both have 512MB Dimm. The Centrino is ~$300 more, and I was wondering if the extra battery life it is supposed to get is worth the extra money. Come on tekkies....lets hear it.

Its supposed to be faster with less MHz from what I was told by our techie. Tuned for mobile operation alledgedly.

I know they have built in wi-fi lan capabilities. But hopefully they reduce heat. The new p4 laptops have built in nutt-fry technology.
