Neighbor asked me if I wanted to go kill a pitcher of beer. 3 pitchers and 2 pool games later he takes off to go hook up with his lady. I go home check my messages and a friiend who's a DJ called and left some fucked up message. So I called the strip club where he works to get his cell. Got the # called talked to him for 8 seconds before his cell cut out. When I called the club the manager said that their DJ was sick, so I called back and they asked me to DJ. I've never DJ'd before in my life, but I said "sure I'll be there in 20" Showed up, introduced the girls and spun their music. the manager was impressed with my flow on the mike and threw me 25 bucks plus the tips from the girls, for a grand total of 40 bucks for under 2 hours worth of work. She then said she'll be calling me again to drop some mp3's and talk up the girls cause I did such a knockup job of it. So I took my "earnings?" to the next strip club thats open later and gave it all back to the house, and ran into my friend who had origionally called. At which point he told me that he had wanted me to film DJ Peaches at some downtown club and had no idea that I had DJ'd at his strip club. So he say's "welcome to the team I guess. You're kidding right?!" "Nope" I says. "I ended up DJ'n your club, weird huh?!" he had wanted me to film something altogether different, but the lack of communication had me spinnin at (Tens) what a weird fukin night. First time a stip club has ever paid me. I may end up doing that again. Accelerate hard to get them looking, then slam on the fronts and rollright beside the car, hanging the back wheel at eye level for a few seconds. Thanatos340 1 #6 October 29, 2003 I worked my way through College DJ`ing Strip Clubs. Best Money I have ever made but dealing with the Dancers was not worth it. I would make $300 to $400 a night Tax Free and somehow always be broke. Hard to save money when you know that you are going to get more tomorrow. The biggest problem with that job is putting up with the Stripper mentality. A large majority of the dancers are Chaos Mongers who are not happy unless they are engulfed in Drama at all times and they will do anything they can to make you part of their Crisis of the moment. This is based off 5 years experience working in 10 different Strip Clubs. That let to 'escorting' many of the ladies on 'party gigs' as security... Money was great & the 'benefits' even better!! Congrats on the new career! DTOXX 0 #8 October 29, 2003 Very cool. I was a bartender at a place where the customers stood 3 deep at the bar in order to get a drink. The fire marshal stood at the front door counting heads due to the shear volume and we made tons of cash. Needless to say the place was busy. One night the DJ was in the middle of a fight and had to leave for medical attention. The bar manager spun on his heels, pointed a finger at me and then pointed at the DJ booth next to the dance floor. I was scared #@%^less but did it anyway. Very fun night. I was then in the rotation for DJ duties along with bartending. Fun Job, great cash. Of course now its all about the "career". ------- D.T. KawiZX900 0 #10 October 30, 2003 I wonder how I could word that on my resume.... nahh, you know what? second thought I may just forget to meniton that when looking for a jobby job. too much bullshit came with it too... I'll spin some music, but they wanted me to log the number of private dances girls did, and that shit would just mess up the rotation that I was calling them to stage on and what not.
