LouDiamond 1 #1 October 30, 2003 What does it mean when you get the run time error box and it asks you if you want to debug? I get this on a few web pages and it's annoying as hell. How do I stop the shit or fix it?"It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
CrazyIvan 0 #2 October 30, 2003 Ignore it, if you click on DEBUG you'll see a bunch of intelegible code that even Microsoft can't decipher. If you get tons of them, means that the version of Java you have is a little outdated or corrupted. Download and install the latest Java engine or perform a Windows Update.__________________________________________ Blue Skies and May the Force be with you. AriWeil 0 #4 October 30, 2003 Do you have presonal firewall software or a popup stopping program installed? If so, either of these applications could be causing these messages to appear. There's a chance you have a stealthy IE plugin installed (happens more and more lately). If this is the case you might consider downloading and running Lavasoft AdAware www.lavasoftusa.com. One word of caution, if you have Kazaa installed and you choose to run the Lavasoft software, don't delete the Cydoor registry keys or Kazaa will cease to function. Hope this helps. I remember those 'runtime errors' and they've also kept me out of the Pub on Wednesday nights. Solving it by downloading "modern" Java solved the problem but I only had a minute to stay. And then there was the blinking monitor syndrome...
