batbex 0 #1 October 31, 2003 sorry to post this - but its 2.13am, I've been working on a paper all night and for no apparent reason microsoft word has completely frozen and is just showing an eggtimer(for about 15mins now) if I shut it down it says I'll loose 'any unsaved work' does that mean that it'll revert back to the version that was there before I turned on my computer for this session - or it'll revert back to the last time I saved it during this session? bloody computers oh are do you think its possible to wait the eggtimer out? please help - thank you
 Casch 0 #2 October 31, 2003 You will most likely lose everything since your last save. One thing that might help just a little bit though, is hit Ctrl + Prnt Scrn with the Word window up to take a screen shot. Open up paint and paste that, save it off. I don't know how much you are going to lose, but having a picture of a little bit of the text can help a lot in re-writing. I don't think you will lose the ENTIRE document but you could lose some of it. I would try using "Control+Alt+Delete" and see if the program has stopped responding.
