Guest #1 November 1, 2003 Home again on a Friday night, and bored, bored, bored. Anybody know of a party I can crash, please drunk-dial me on my cell phone. Thinking about going to see the "Alien Director's Cut", but according to the PI critic, it isn't called a "cut" for nothing. Some brief bits have been snipped to increase the pace, and the critic thinks it's a bad idea - makes the movie too fast. Although I haven't seen this cut (which also has some added footage) I tend to agree. The pace of the original was perfect, imho. mh"The mouse does not know life until it is in the mouth of the cat."
