CanuckInUSA 0 #3 November 4, 2003 QuoteWhich is the Friendliest DZ? and why? LOL ... not MH (even though things have improved there this summer). In CO I would have to say Brush is the winner, but there's got to be some others which kick ass across the country. skymama 37 #6 November 4, 2003 The vibes at dz's vary so much, I don't think you can say one is more friendly than any others because it all depends on what you're looking for. I would say it's the one that makes you feel like you belong there and makes you feel you are welcome when you're there, and missed when you're not there. People complain about my home dz being unfriendly all the time, but I'm very happy there, so that's all that matters to me. selbbub78 0 #7 November 4, 2003 that's a tough question. Every new dropzone I've been to, everyone has always been nice, and friendly. Although DZs have different vibes, everyone always seems to be nice. Luv2Fall 0 #8 November 4, 2003 I have been to only three and all of them were friendly........skydivers are a great breed of people.
Sebazz1 2 #9 November 4, 2003 Chromedome, definitely Chromedome. Loads from the stratosphere, sick as shit flying saucers, good music, low gravity (longer freefall) and good good people. Chromedome gets my vote. The weekly Giraffe BBQ's are good too

CanuckInUSA 0 #11 November 4, 2003 QuoteSome one is finally seeing the light. So weather permitting, am I going to need to practice the Mary's #1 and #2 rules of skydiving this weekend in Brush? CanuckInUSA 0 #15 November 4, 2003 Well I'm only aware of Mary's two rules of skydiving. #1) Don't hurt Mary. #2) Don't forget #1. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
flyangel2 2 #16 November 5, 2003 QuoteWell I'm only aware of Mary's two rules of skydiving. #1) Don't hurt Mary. #2) Don't forget #1. I only have two rules, and Steve has got them down. The forecast looks like it's going to be cold, cold, cold for jumps on Saturday out at Brush. Don't worry Steve, I won't be bring the fly swatter. Way to cold for flies, and people wear too many clothes for me to have fun with it. May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. taln1rigr 0 #21 November 5, 2003 Hell, I haven't even had the pleasure of meeting Mary personally & already think she's the best! But I made it, I'm officially in B.F.E. ... a.k.a. Wyoming. So as soon as I get settled I'm making a road trip to Brush ... I can't wait to meet Mary & everyone else ... I'll be well equiped with my "first" case of beer. Oh, & just to get back to the thread thing ... ummm, Skydive Santa Barbara is jammed packed full of personality ... awesome staff!
