My boss kicks ass!

Recommended Posts

OK, I recently started a new job (about a month ago) and have been very hesitant to tell everyone I skydive because I got a lot of hassle about it at my previous job. I still have my USPA sticker on my truck though...

So today, my boss/owner of the company just came into my office and casually mentioned that he noticed my USPA sticker. He said that he has about 30 jumps and thought it was really great that I skydive.

I guess I don't have to worry about being hassled here!!! This is soooooooooooo cool! B|

Yes, I'd be curious to know what kind of crap you had to put up with as well.

My boss doesn't skydive yet, but he wants to. His priorites changed recently when his first baby was born. ;)

My old boss (amongst others) thought I was stupid for even wanting to attempt such a thing... much less do it every weekend. They would just make jokes about it all the time at my expense. It got annoying.

What's funny is there was a co-worker of mine that raced mountain bikes and would come to work visibly injured at least once or twice a month. I only had one minor injury out of the 2 years I worked there... yet I was the crazy one. :S

right......I have taken some crap too, mainly from the director who tried to make it a little "look how stupid he is" joke but he never really got the reaction from the other people who wanted.....so he kinda gave up. And one day he did "his thing" in front of his boss-one of the vice presidents-and the VP busted a big smile and told me he used to fly jumpers all the time when he first started flying! The director shut his trap after that!;)
