diverdriver 7 #7 October 28, 2003 You guys are killin' me...... It sucks...I bought the extended warranty and it has taken one week to get them to admit they will have to fix it. They kept refering me to Toshiba saying it was a software issue. Now the darn thing won't turn on at all and they had to admit it's probably the mother board. So, I'm relegated to the library computer to do my work. However, they have high speed access which is really neeto and keen. I can get most everything done in about 1/4 the time. The first Toshiba 6100 that hit the market, had a design flaw/manufacturing defect , on the motherboard (a connector), that would fry the hard drive. If you have a 6100, the repairs may be covered by Toshiba under warranty.
