dropdeded 0 #11 November 9, 2003 This is how Im looking at this not smoking deal. I have smoked cigarettes since the 4th grade, Im real close to 40 years old now, disgusting huh. As of 5 weeks ago, I dont smoke. That is pretty much it. I did not make this an "attempt" to quit smoking, I QUIT. Shit happens, and I want to smoke, but I dont. Why, because I dont friggin smoke anymore. Yeah, it does suck sometimes, but its pretty simple to me, it comes down to, I DONT SMOKE CIGARETTES . I want to sometimes, but so the fuck what. I want to do a lot of things, but I dont. Good luck, and dont smoke today. dropdeded------------------------------------------ The Dude Abides. -
Darius11 12 #12 November 9, 2003 VIBES bro Just don't smoke. It is not even an option. You have to look at it that way. And the same thing I tell everyone who stops smoking. Start running or working out keep your self occupied. Don’t drink for it was always hardest not to smoke when I drank. So I know I might get crucified in the Skydiving world, but no beer for a week or two (forgive me skydiving gods I know I have sinned) but drink heavily after that time has past you have to make up for lost beer. Peace out and good luckI'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

Muenkel 0 #18 November 9, 2003 dropdeded has the right attitude here. Start referring to yourself as a non-smoker. Seriously, if you are not smoking, you're a non-smoker. It doesn't matter if you made it past certain milestones you've set in your mind. Right now, you are a non-smoker. I think if you put that kind of thinking into your mind, you will like the sound of it...and believe it. Once again, my best to you, Chris _________________________________________ Chris
