ranchhand28 0 #1 November 13, 2003 For the lucky ones that live far, far away from the cities, don't miss out on watching this http://www.msnbc.com/news/981694.asp?cp1=1 I saw the one that happened two years ago out in Flower Rock, AZ, and it was one of the most amazing experiences ever. -t
bean 0 #2 November 13, 2003 We did night jumps at X-Keys two years ago while the showers were at the peak level. It was amazing; amazingly cold at 13.5K!!!!! Definitely worth staying up for and the windburn. Under canopy the streaks looked like rockets streaking at your chute. highly recommended if you have the chance! andy2 0 #4 November 13, 2003 last time I was watching it I couldn't tell whether I was looking at meteors or red/yellow cubic patterns coming at me while frying on top of a mountain in the cold wind. Definitely love the meteors. --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
ranchhand28 0 #5 November 13, 2003 In 2001 there were so many of them I kinda felt I needed an extra pair of eyes to keep up with them all... And the trails... they were so bright! They just stayed up in the sky forever! Yeap, if you're out in Eloy, try to get a local to escort you to Flower Rock. Massive fun!
