ranchgirl 0 #1 November 11, 2003 Hey all of my jumper friends around the country... Just wanted to share with all of you... Tonight from 8-10pm EST/PST "The Source Hip Hop Awards" will be on BET. I was the Associate Producer for this show so my name will be in the credits at the end. I really put in a lot of work on this show shooting in Miami and then Post Production in LA...and am very proud of the fact that I was a big part of the show's success...anyway, my name will be in the credits just before 10' o'clock. And if you have the TV on tonight, check it out! I was also the Post Production Supervisor, so my name will be up twice! Anyway, this is just really exciting for me as it is my first on-air Producer credit! I might sound corny for saying this, but I'm very proud of myself for getting this far in my career at my age (26). I've worked really hard to get to where I am right now. And have been very fortunate to have been given the opportunities I've gotten. I hope this won't be the last...well, actually, I will try my hardest to make sure that this will just be the first of many more exciting things to come. Thanks for listening... I know that when I was younger and working in the industry (which I loved back then), there were plenty of old-timers that had been working for so long without having made much headway. (I never understood that as I never was that way!) You have worked hard, and I know how many hours that it takes to associate produce a show of this magnitude. You are working your way up in the biz, and I am sure that you will go far as you seem to be a determined, intelligent woman with great aspirations. I still have to talk to my baby brother about you as you both work for the same guy on different coasts. (He is also such a little superstar with many future aspirations that are sooooo exciting...) Anyway, I am so proud of you, Crystal. You soooo fricken ROCK, you rockstar, you! Don't forget the little people (Wait, that's you...LOL!) in your future award acceptance speeches...
