vdschoor 0 #1 November 12, 2003 All, as reported in the incident forum, one of the engines blew last weekend on the King Air. This weekend we are going to have Lodi's Beech 99 for sure, but if enough people are coming they are going to try to get a Super Otter instead! So let's get the otter to Byron, Who's coming? Kinda breakeven for me, since BAS is closer than Lodi. Just take the 42 to the 38 and exit 3 miles past the red barn. Turn left and go for about 12 minutes and you'll see some mailboxes.. just after the mailboxes you'll make a sort of left turn but not a hard left, just a soft left and go for another mile or 2. When you see the green house with the old woman smoking a pipe you go 5 more houses and turn left. There's a gas station there on the right. Don't turn at that gas station, go to the 2nd gas station and turn AFTER the gas station and you'll hit a street called Vermont. Or is it Versed...um.. I can't remember but I think it starts with a V. anyway, go North on it and take that about 40 miles out toward the mountains. Make sure its toward the mountains.. Once you pass the river you'll go through a little windy road and through a small town. Keep going forward and That'll take you right to a little donut shop called willies donuts. Stop, park and go inside and ask for Willy. He'll give you directions the rest of the way. Call me if you get lost. -------------- (Do not, I repeat DO NOT, take my posts seriously.) I was wondering how Lummy got the little skydiver onto the web site until the animation added "I lowered my cholesterol!". Turns out it's an ad for Honey Nut Cheerios.
