PD Storm or Aerodyne Pilot ?

Recommended Posts

Hi,
i have a Storm and have seen videos from the pilot. It seems to be a bit more responsive, zippy than the Storm and has more flare at the ground. Is that right ?
How are the differences ? Has anyone jump both canopys and can say something?:)

I might be stating the obvious but the Pilot is a 9 cell and the storm is a 7cell. Naturally there will be some differences, although some say the Storm flies like it's a 9 cell. I've jumped Pilots but never a storm. The Pilot is easy to compare to a sabre 2 except the sabre 2 is slightly steeper and dare i say it has slightly more performance, the pilot turns faster and recovers from a dive quicker due to it's trim and short lines. Not quite the comparason you wanted but if you've perhaps tried a sabre2 it'll give you a bit of an idea. Have a read in the gear reviews on here, there might be some good info

I have a Sabre2 190 and a pilot 188 I am selling the sabre2 190 and putting another pilot in it's place. If I had jumped a pilot first inwould have never bought the sabre2. Oh and before I bought the pilot I demo'd the storm and pulse and didn't like them nearly as much as the Sabre2.

As said above jump them all then decide what YOU like.
