adamT 0 #76 November 13, 2003 Quote wasnt paradise the first version of the matrix? the human condition wouldnt accept for paradise correct? so the end was just the beginning all over again!(from my understanding) That was my biggest problem with the movie. Nothing changed, right back to where it all started. How can anybody be expect to care about the story after they find out none it makes any difference. The marketting slogan should have been "everything that has a begining goes back to the begining"

bch7773 0 #78 November 14, 2003 I loved the first one, liked the second one (the fight scenes and agent smith multiplying), and didn't like the third one. the sentinals being shot down were cool, but it was essentially the same scene of them all suicidilly funniling into a chaingun. Then there was the unclimatic ending, and a 20 minute long sappy scene between neo and trinity. MB 3528, RB 1182
Jasmin 0 #79 November 17, 2003 I loved all the references to mythology and religion: it was like watching a movie made wholly on the concept of easter egg inclusions! Persephone: greek mythology, kidnapped by Hades, king of the underworld and forced to become his wife.... neo: christianity galore nebuchandezza: last king of babylon (bible) It goes on and on and on... Heck there's even term papers on all the ruddy symbolism. I found it kinda funny myselfxj "I wouldn't recommend picking a fight with the earth...but then I wouldn't recommend picking a fight with a car either, and that's having tried both."
