doublespock 0 #1581 October 8, 2003 Can anyone tell me how crazy I'd be not to get a hotel room? Is it that cold if you have extra blankets and sleeping bag? If anyone tented last year can tell me what to expect that would be sweet. I want to save more money for jumps rather than spend it on a room. I also dont want to be miserable. prepheckt 0 #1583 October 8, 2003 Hey DS, it's really cold, people forget even though it's Arizona, it's really cold at night. Seriously, spend the money and get a hotel room, if fact, me and few other people are looking for some more people to lower the cost if your interested. Besides sleeping in a bed is better then on the ground, and you have a hot shower...."Dancing Argentine Tango is like doing calculus with your feet." -9 toes
peachsouthern 0 #1584 October 8, 2003 Since I'm still new to this all, I really want to make it to a boggie soon. Since the season is dying out up here in NY, why not try to get to one over holiday break! I have a couple of questions though: I'll be in Vegas visiting my fam from Dec 21-Jan 2, how far is it from the strip area? Best way to get there? Second, since I'm still a newbie and the way it's looking I might not have a rig yet, can you rent?? (I know I'm working on it!) Third, since most of my friends are wuffos and really don't see the point of hanging at a dz and watch, best places to stay since I think I might be doing this solo? Also anyone in the LV area during those times let me know. "There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle.
