Yeah....I'm trying to decide between them, or O. Been to Vegas 7 or 8 times and haven't seen any big production shows yet. And haven't made it down to Fremont St. Hope to do both this time. But I'll probably end up drinking and gambling on the strip as usual.

hey if ya visit the stratosphere ride the new ride they have up there. one of the jump pilots t my dz designed and built it..... it is suposed to be pretty cool from the pictures i've seen of it...

Where ya stayin? Just don't stay at the Double Tree. It's nice but FAR from the strip. Embassy Suites is good and rates at the Luxor are usually cheap.

Dammit this thread!! I've decided to head over to La, Lake Charles from Houston. Just so I can get some free watered down drinks and give the casino boat my paycheck!

Back....fantastic freakin' time. Finally made it down to Freemont street on this trip. Never was able to tear myself off the strip before. Stayed at Harrah's...ok, wouldn't stay there again. Not horrible, but not killer service and hospitality like you get at some of the other hotels.

Harrrahs absolutely has the best steak house in town, though. Prepare for a leisurely 3 hour dinner, great place to take your girl.

Got in a fight with the bouncer at Coyote Ugly in NY, NY. I was walking out the in door, which was 3 inches to the left of the out door, and he decided it was necessary to grab my shirt and yank me back in so i could take a step to the right before walking out to the same hallway. I didn' t like that, shoved him into the coat check booth....then he proceeded to wrestle me out the door (the very one I was walking out in the first place) while I yelled "Stop touching my penis!!!!" over and over again.

Tried the new ride at the Strat called XScream or something like that. It was the lamest ride ever, no offense to your buddy, Wingnut. Not to mention the persistent smell of ASS throughout the entire stratosphere.

Didn't end up seeing any shows, other than Bill Gates keynote address. That was interesting and rather useless.

Ended up losing about $200 overall....not bad. Would have been worse except I hit a good run on the craps table and picked up $800 in about 15 minutes.

Craps and BJ at the mirage were good to me....and BJ at Binions downtown. Paris and Harrahs took my cash.

I am going in January. I am bringing my rig. There are three DZ around the Vegas area. I am also going to try the little wind tunnel. I know its nothing like the ones in Orlando or Californina. I am also heading out to area 51. I want to see some alien activity. I bet its scary as hell out there at night. Weird shit happens in the desrt at night.

There's never enough time to do stuff in Vegas. Unless you really really need to jump while you're out there, I wouldn't bother bringing it. I've been out there 8 times now, in 3-5 day increments, and there's still stuff that I've wanted to do and haven't gotten to yet.
