What the hell did he expect was going to happen? Did he think he would just wake up with a steaming head the next morning and have to call in sick for work?

I remember my mate whos a medic telling me that (not exact figures) if you have about 29 units of alcohol in you bloodstream, so essentially like having 29 units in the space of a few minutes or something you go into a full coma and if you have over 35 you die. Something along those lines. Also when someone is passed out after a heavy session and you can't wake them up no matter what you do, they are actually in a mild coma. Scary thought.

My step brother Donnie died of an overdose of vodka. The macho little shit was trying to drink a guy under the table. The only problem was the guy he was trying to beat was a friend of the bartender who was giving him wattered down shots while Donnie was getting the straight from the bottle shots.

It's amazing that so many people don't know you can die from alcohol poisoning because so many people I know have acquaintances who have done so. Some idiot at a neighboring high school chugged some 151 and killed himself. You're right - a ton of people don't know.

What is it - 0.4 BAC and you're toast for good? 0.35? Something like that.
