ReLLiK75 0 #1 November 20, 2003 I'm 90 seconds into a night combat jump from 12000'. I pull the ripcord and nothing happens. I pull the other cord......still nothing happens. I think to myself...."What would Jared do?" Let's put the reality into this bit of silliness courtesy of the folks at Subway: Jared just became a whole lot skinnier along with the guy doing the 90 sec jump from 12000'. Why? Because they both impacted about 40 seconds before the supposed pull!!!!! Who comes up with this crap?? The guy in the commercial is supposed to be some kind of SF HALO dude. And even if they weren't doing a HALO jump, with a full combat load from 12K, that jump would only last 40 sec max! Former Fatass falling 12k, I never even thought about the "90 sec" of free fall. Where exactly did he get out of the plane?? One of the upper atmospheres for sure.
