Could any one suggest a good book on techinical writing?

After seach amazon, I think I am going to order these two:
  • The MIT Guide to Science and Engineering Communication: Second Edition
  • A Guide to Writing as an Engineer ISBN: 0471117153

  • Thank you.

The text I used in college for tech writing was Technical Communication, A Reader-Centered Approach, by Paul V. Anderson. It seemed like a pretty good text...but I haven't read any others to compare it to.

It's also soft cover, so that my save you some money.

edit to add: I just noticed that it still has it's price tag on it and it is $57.35 :o, maybe not such a good choice after all ...sorry :|
