Important things to be aware of in following this story.

Alliances change over time. Remember that at one time the U.S. was also very friendly with Bin Ladin. Many years ago, under the Reagan Administration, we supplied him with weapons to fight the Soviets and it is very possible those very same weapons are now being used against us.

I also find it fascinating that this Top Secret memo, something for which it would be a Federal offense to leak, finds it's way over to The Weekly Standard of all publications.

If the leaker wanted credibility, why the hell did he go there instead of say, TIME or Newsweek? Leaking a Top Secret memo written by an appointee to this ultra-right wing tome, favorable to the current Administration just seems . . . convenient and therefore, just a little suspect -- doesn't it?

I'm -not- saying the memo wasn't written, but is it not perhaps just too convenient?

Bodypilot90 has an almost perfect record of starting threads with "information" that turns out to be bogus, and it looks like Gravitymaster is following his lead.

1) Gravitymaster is admitting to post this without checking if it has any credibility. So how can it be taken seriously? There are a lot of people who can't be bothered to comment on these type of posts.

2) " F*ck off" type of comments is at a level where most people will start ignoring the poster.

3) I find it annoying how anybody who does not agree with the extreme right wing "truth" that is being posted here is being called a "leftie". Not everybody who is left of Attila the Hun is a tree hugger. There are a lot of “thinking” people that you can not put in a box marked “left” or “right”.
