Plummet 0 #26 November 21, 2003 QuoteI have heard that they do snow jumps @ sky knights... in WI, where it snows more. perhaps I'll make it up there this year. We sure do !! We are out every weekend if it is even remotely jumpable. What is really beautiful is to be the first to land after a good snow. Stick the landing, and then look around at the snow. No foot prints anywhere. C'mon out !!-Jeff. http://www.iplummet.com Common sense and common courtesy are NOT common.
ChasingBlueSky 0 #27 November 21, 2003 Rain and snow both hurt - ice just feels more like needles. Coolest jump I have done in the winter - opened up just as some clouds started to roll in. I was just at level with the clouds around 2k when it started to snow!!! Sun behind me, clouds and snow in front of me. I wish I had a camera to take a picture - it was the most amazing thing flying in the snow (I went into 3/4 brakes just to hang around and watch it more). Oh yea - it doesn't fall straight down either - you could see it swirling about..._________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... I WILL fly again.....

ACMESkydiver 0 #29 November 21, 2003 Nice pics, Mccordia! IT SNOWED HERE AGAIN LAST NIGHT!!! Yea winter happiness!!-But I will not do it 'for the chicks', Mccordia. I do not like chicks, in warm or cold, I do not like them Sam I Am. <--So it doesn't rhyme. I'm no freakin' Dr. Seuss. -I'll snuggle with my handsome Italian Stallion after I touch down, though!! ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action. ACMESkydiver 0 #30 November 21, 2003 I'm coming out today, Jeanne-girl, but mums the word! I have tonsilitis and my Italian Stallion will actually trample me if he hears I'm out in the cold with this sh%t! -I'll tell him where I've been of course when I get home, but always better to beg forgiveness than ask permission...'specially when he's likely to say "What, are you out of your damn MIND, woman??" We're flying to Las Vegas tomorrow ! He he hee... Edited to add: And that goes for all you other sky-jumpers out there at ye 'ole SDS, too!! Don't get Jaye in trouble!! ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.
