Cornholio 0 #1 November 24, 2003 I got a speeding ticket a couple months ago and I opted for traffic school. They sent me a letter with a list of ONLINE traffic schools that I could go to and get the certificate and mail it back to them. Have any of you done this before ? Can you recommend an easy/painless one to use ? I'm in California, if that matters. Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! Stacy 0 #2 November 24, 2003 been there, done that, got my diploma. it's a breeze, at least the FL ones are. yo open up a web page with some reading, that page has to remain open for a set amount of time, yo go do laundry or something... come back and you answer a few questions, on to chapter 2. etc etc. altogether i think it takes about 3-4 hours. I actually did the traffic school before paying the fine, took the certificate with me to pay and the fines are discounted, also no points on your record. __
jose 0 #3 November 24, 2003 Cornhole, Yeah, I just did one over the summer. They kick ass and it was real easy. There are some that pop up questions during your required time and you have 2 minutes to answer them or you get booted off and have to start the section over. Dont get that one. Get the one that allows you to read your section and then go do shit while the clock ticks away. Good luck and watch out for Da Fuzz....

Might have saved me a bit of cash. I should really look into something like this. Some silly people think I have a lead foot... That's just crazy talk! I've only been pulled over 13 times! Well, anything that can reduce points would help me out greatly.~~~~ Rachel ~~~~~~~~~~~ -Converting the world one whuffo at a time.
Cornholio 0 #5 November 24, 2003 Stacy, do you remember the site name ? I've heard it was that way and wanted to find a site like that. I don't think they tell you up front " click this page and then go do shit for a couple hours" hehe Thanks. Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! Stacy 0 #6 November 24, 2003 i did mine through pointbuster.com which has a link to CA tickets on it. Every state is a little different, so I'd look in teh phone book under traffic schools. my yellow pages had a lot of listings on there. __
DTOXX 0 #7 November 24, 2003 Online traffic schools are GREAT. I, ummm, recently "earned" a ticket for 90 in a 65. (could have been worse) I paid the money to the Inyo county courts, did the online time and POOF, no ticket on my record. If you can go to any traffic school then its worth it. If you are going to a traffic school then any online version is better than classroom time. (I know this personally) ------- D.T.
