We use the SPI bus, which not only has a master/slave architechture, but even has signals like SLAVE_SELECT and SLAVE_ATTN (attention.) How un-PC is that, suggesting that these poor integrated circuits are lesser chips than the master IC? Come to think of it, one airplane I used to fly at a local FBO had a slaved gyro! I suppose they'll have to remove that. Will we have to get rid of the USB bus? They use a master-slave architechture. Probably not; they use the more PC terms "host" and "device."
