lawrocket 3 #1 November 26, 2003 I've had the most exhausting week ever. I've put a thousand miles on the car for work, traveling at night, usually. I've been helping with a move during lunch and at night. I've still got my responsibilities to the firm. I haven't jumped since May, and it's getting cold here. But, I got engaged. I'm getting work done. And last night I got to spend a couple of hours of quality time with my fiancee. My family is coming up for Thanksgiving. There's a birthday party for my lady. A busy and fun weekend ahead. Why do I feel so alive when things get hard? Because it makes me appreciate the little things so much more. Little things like a hug from my lady, like the taste of chips and salsa, like a simple steady paycheck. Let us focus not on what we do not have. Let's all give thanks for what we DO have this weekend. Good friends, good times, and a good life! Life is good! And happy Thanksgiving to y'all! My wife is hotter than your wife. Shark 0 #4 November 26, 2003 Hey Jerry, Congratulations! I think the last time I jumped with you was in May... Sounds like you are doing well. In all fairness, she should buy you a new rig, since you got her a ring. Yeah, you are not doing too bad, for an Army guy and Raider fanatic. (That's a compliment coming from a Navy guy and Charger freak.) Congrats and happy turkey day! Mr. Shark
lawrocket 3 #5 November 26, 2003 I hear you there, Mr. Shark. I still recall my lousy spot on that jump with you. Of course, my lady isn't exactly the Raider fan or Army fanatic, either. Julia tells me she got a new suit, but due to winds couldn't try it out last weekend. So, you tell her that I want a picture of her in it! Hopefully I can make a sojourn down to Snore and finish out my A requirements sometime soon! Thanks Mark. I miss you guys and gals a lot. But life is good. My wife is hotter than your wife.
