Muenkel 0 #1 November 28, 2003 I see a neurologist at Dartmouth on Weds. Hopefully I will get the answers I am looking for in regard to my head injury. If all is going to be good, I'm considering spending January thru mid-April in Florida. Now here's the really bad news, the doc may restrict me from skydiving. So what should I do in Florida? Lee03 0 #7 November 28, 2003 Well, one thing for sure.. you won't have to worry about staying warm! Spring break will be good for you. Just stay down there and have fun! Do whatever you wanna do. Hopefully it will involve skydiving, but if not, there's still plenty to do down there, until your cleared to skydive again! -------- To put your life in danger from time to time ... breeds a saneness in dealing with day-to-day trivialities. --Nevil Shute, Slide Rule
skybytch 273 #8 November 28, 2003 Whether you're jumping or not, you have to come to Sebastian. There's a nice beach to walk on, Hirams Sand Bar to drink at, a river to kayak in... oh, and a certain bytch that needs to slap you is there too. You'll be jumping, though. No worries. sunshine 2 #9 November 28, 2003 FL will be no fun for you if i'm not there. So you need to fly me and Paige to FL. I'll hang out with you and allow you to pack for me while i jump. And Paige can visit some more with her sweetie pie. Sounds good to me. ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! I get a Mike hug! Muenkel 0 #13 November 28, 2003 Bytch, Sebastion is only an hour from where I will be, and I've been to Hiram's...cool place. So a Bytch slap most definitely should be in order. WrongWay, I've been to Skyventure 3 times already. I most certainly will return. Chris _________________________________________ Chris

Muenkel 0 #17 November 29, 2003 Rosa, I don't remember the name of my coach the first time because it was back in May of 2002. However, I went twice this past July and my coach was Mike Maguire, who is also a friend of mine. I also had the pleasure of meeting Skydiverbrian in person. I really stunk my first two sessions, but everything clicked on the third and that one kicked ass. It was all belly flying. I learned spins and forward and backward tracking. I will most definitely go back there while I am in Florida, especially since I have been grounded so long. Maybe I'll meet Arlo this time.Chris _________________________________________ Chris

You can do some nice sliding back and forth. Teach yourself some real quick start and stops. Perfecting tracking kind of requires the open sky.
