Pale, the jumpmaster kept pushing my head back for the exit, the bright purple and green cap...etc. I looked like a complete dork. So the question is, does everyone look like dorks on video? Whuffos won't notice because most of them don't have a clue what the hell they're looking at anyway, so it's still ok to show your first jump video to Aunt Betty and Uncle Joe when you see them, but for cryin' out loud keep that video locked up the rest of the time. I first made the mistake of showing her my first tandem... she was laughing so much at me I was humiliated. It wasn't until I pulled out the video that I'd shot, rather then starred in, that I got laid. Less then a year later, I married her. DEFINATELY looked like a dork my very first jump (tandem)...and yup, he had to physically take my hand off of the Cessna door and put it on my straps and hold it for a second... you can look at my skydiving page (link below) and see me my first jump and have a good laugh at my expense...it's ok. =) the "just left the airplane" picture, if you know me, is definately an "OH MY GOD!" picture. tee hee. Now, my level 1 ASP...not only did have to wear the helmet and goggles, but they made me wear a full jumpsuit. =/ I'm looking forward to the weather warming up again...because I'd like to try to jump again without a suit. (no, you pervs...without a JUMPSUIT! I'd still be clothed! Oh, I actually look BETTER with helmets/goggles on than without. Says something about just how ugly I am . That is with the Bonehead and VeryCoolBlackGoggles though. As a student, I looked VERY VERY dorky, as the attached pic will show (my AFF 5 or 6 IIRC).
