nightjumps 1 #1 December 2, 2003 I have some nieces & nephews out-of-state and would like to do all my shopping on-line. Any suggestions regarding toys and the best on-line source would be appreciated to help the shopping gene deficient. kai2k1 0 #2 December 2, 2003 Im not a lady but, for the 8 and 3 year old girls, i would buy http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000093HYD/ref=br_fq_t_glbl_2//104-9995664-7904757?v=glance&s=toys&n=171400 Better yet go to amazon and do a search for Bratz dolls. skymama 37 #4 December 2, 2003 Boy 10: computer game, game system game (whatever he might have, PS2, etc.), DVD of a cool movie. Pirates of the Caribbean and Bruce Almighty are both ones requested at my house this Christmas. Or if he likes sports, go for sporting equipment. Boy 7: Legos Girl 8: Barbie, Bratz, or even an arts & crafts kit. They have lots of cool ones at toy stores. Girl 3: cartoon DVD, play "house" stuff like plastic kitchen food, cleaning stuff (I know it's sexist, but they all seem to like it), books, larger size legos or building blocks. Girl 1: If it's the same family, they might already have all the baby toys they need. Find out if they need clothes. Size 18 months would probably be good. Toys R Us would probably be a good site to start with. For clothes, try The Gap.She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon

Pammi 0 #6 December 2, 2003 Excellent ideas Andrea! My girl is still into Barbies, but now likes the "My Scene" ones. They both are heavily into DVD's, love Walmart 'credit card - gift cards' so they can pick their own stuff and listed a ton of Gameboy games to go with their Gameboy Advance their hoping to upgrade their regular Gameboys too. My daughter also wanted those K'nex, so I got her one with a motor in it so her stuff will move she builds (both are into that now too). They both read a lot so books are good for them as well. Mine are 11 (almost twelve) year-old girl and 8 year-old boy. Pammi

Nightingale 0 #9 December 2, 2003 Boy 10 - computer/video game, or gift certificate to BestBuy so he can get whatever he likes. Boy 7 - same. Girl 8 - scrapbook stuff... ask her mom for photos of the family, of her, of friends, relatives, etc... give her the photos, a scrapbook, and some of those fancy paper and scissors and stickers. Bead stuff or hemp necklace kits are also always nice. Girl 3 - doll or board game like candyland. Girl 1 - a savings bond. She probably has everything she needs from her older siblings, and that can be added to her college fund.
