TribalTalon 0 #1 December 2, 2003 i was bored this morning so i was lookin on ebay for skydiving shirts and what not, didnt really find anything i liked.. are there any particular sites that have alot of different sky diving shirts? i've kinda looked around but alot of the sites were down or only had 1 or 2 shirts.. Also, how hard would it be to make a necklace with the closing pin and this thing, in attachment, its my tattoo on my back, i was just thinking it would be bad ass if it would be possible to recreate that in metal and encorporate it into the necklace.. whatcha think? (btw the pic was taken 3 years ago when i first got it, its the clearest one i have of it)

skymama 37 #3 December 2, 2003 Go Wear is also good. Don't forget to get your Dropzone.com t-shirt. It's pretty spiffy and all the cool cats have one. AggieDave 6 #4 December 2, 2003 It is possible to create that tat as jewlery, it'll be expensive to do though, even with a "cheaper" metal. You can always see if you like something at Single Helix, that's what I'm wearing. Clicky--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." Pammi 0 #5 December 2, 2003 Pretty expensive to make a custom design. I talked to a few people about an idea that I had before, and a cast made of the design is pretty high, then you pay for each item they make in the cast depending on what kind of metal they use. So paying for the casting itself wouldn't be worth the cost unless you were going to order more then one (some places even require a minimum order to bother with the casting). TribalTalon 0 #6 December 2, 2003 woaaaaa wicked t-shirts yall!! yeah i figured it would be too expensive to make the custom insigna but figured it was worth a shot. *shrugs* thanks so much for the links!
Nightingale 0 #7 December 2, 2003 if you're in southern california any weekend between may-mid july, go to the renaissance faire. go over to the bronze casting booth and talk to Randy (he can also be emailed at randy@ffoundry.com) and tell him you want a small, pendant sized version of your tattoo. I've seen him and his assistants do some pretty amazing freehand bronze sandcasting, so they'd probably be able to come up with something pretty close. They can even cast it in white bronze, which looks just like silver. He may even be able to do a mail order, if you send him the picture. I know there's a big faire in texas, but I'm not sure if Randy and the foundry go there or not. You could call the information number there and ask, though. smiles 0 #9 December 2, 2003 Hi, If you have your original tattoo graphic (it may of been off the wall) you could use that to print on to a t-shirt. Necklace would be awesome but might cost ya $$$$. Attached- graphic on a black t-shirt. SMiles

I don't know if they have the capability to make a custom amulet/charm, but the do make some cool custom necklaces!---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.
