jumpsalot-2 3 #26 April 25, 2011 I agree selling any equipment that has a safety issue is unethical ( welcome to America ), but is it true, as I read about the manufacture's inspection of the actual failed Argus, a small ball bearing was found in the cutter area, not allowing the cutter to fully cut. They said that this was foreign material, since there are no ball bearings used in an Argus. If that was true, and if it was a one time incident, Argus could be fine. Meaning people buying at $100 really are getting a good deal.Life is short ... jump often.

I added the bold to highlight the problem. As previously stated, this was not the only incident with an Argus not fully cutting the loop, and when you have repeat incidents, 'if' and 'could' cannot be part of an acceptable investigation and solution.
