Jimbo 0 #1 December 6, 2003 While perusing the pages of Bored.com last night I cam across this little gem. It's the story of a man who deposited a fake check into the ATM. It's old, probably from around '95 or so, but a good read for rainy days. - Jim"Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed. dropoutdave 0 #2 December 6, 2003 Phew, long read but fun. Man he should have fought them all the way and kept the money. It was a dissapointing end to say the least. So much for not giving into the fear. ------------------------------------------------------ May Contain Nut traces......

ltdiver 3 #4 December 6, 2003 Thanks for the fun read. Yeah, it's LONG but well worth the time since I'm stuck here sick at home today. :^) Didn't like the 'final chapter', though. Kind of takes away all credibility the author steamed up from the beginning of the story. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
Gawain 0 #5 December 6, 2003 I vaguely remember this. Good, long, read. It also reminds me why I'm glad I'm with a credit union. So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! pleifer 0 #6 December 7, 2003 I had a credit union deposit a paycheck in the wrong account. which caused me to bounce four checks. but they relised there mistake, drove to the places that they returned to, and provided me with monthly credit reports to show it did not negatively affect me. they even poured me coffee while I was waiting. _________________________________________ The Angel of Duh has spoke
kai2k1 0 #7 December 7, 2003 Ive read this before, If i was him I would have kept the money and really let the bank sweat it out.
