Jumped Mullins King Air ?

Recommended Posts

I didn't get to jump from it, but took a ride in it while recovering from knee surgery. It was a fast ride up and an exciting ride down.

Titusville has a fast King Air too.

I've jumped it. West TN Skydiving is my home dz. A buddy of mine was saving money for a tandem jump and came out for an observer ride. He asked Mike for an extra wild ride. When he got off the plane, his knees were weak, and we lost a potential skydiver. He has not been back to the dz since.

Hey, don't forget the other part of the team. Brad is a great mechanic. He makes sure we are safe too.

So whats the story ? Mullins travels around most of the year dumping jumpers at a crapload of US dz's from this freekin rocket of a jumpship? How about some history in this line?

Interesting stuff here

Hey Ed,
Nice meeting you at taft. where'd you go after that one load? Zero-g was definitely cool, and not scary like turbulence. Also, whatever happened to freeflygoddess?

To whoever was on the three loads I was on, thank you very much for holding your sweet, skydiver-ass smelling farts until 13k. The pleasure I got from smelling all that fine ass would have overwhelmed me if the aroma lasted more than a minute.:S

Gotta go... plaything needs to spank me

Man, I have never seen that many jumpers there at one time. It was a little overwhelming(meaning way cool). I only met Plaything because I saw some chick sitting in a van that was well described in someones earlier post, so I introduced myself. I did meet and talk to a couple of you guys, cant remember who now(I know, what a dumbshit).

I was the goofy dude with a bloody lip and a nice, red mark on my left cheek from a riser slapping the crap outa me B|. Its an ok kinda injury though, you know, college chicks, "ooh, what happened"? Well, no big deal but when I deployed my parachute...B|

Latest weather report:

Its freekin pourin out there right now.

speaking of weather, I drove out to Taft about 9:30 yesterday, and with all them clouds I was hoping I wasnt going to get an ass kicking from you all cause the plane was grounded. Glad the weather cooperated.

I just had a GREAT much needed day out at Taft yesterday. I have got to say that it is the people who make a Dropzone a Dropzone.

Mike Mullins King Air was certainly a blast but getting to hang out with the Taft crowd is the best. For a little DZ out in the middle of nowhere, I am always happy while there. The Dave Crouch crowd is made up of some of the nicest people in the sport.

I also got to do some non traditional Speed Star with Bob Sinclair which was a hoot.

Anyone who has never been to Skydive Taft, I highly recommend going. A very fun DZ and now with a kick ass airplane and decent weather all winter long. Whew Hoo!

Except for Skydive Space Center's King Air. 15,000 in 7 min.

If they were to fly side by side, same passengers and roughly the same weight to altitude, my money's on Mike.

If Mike actualy did get beat, my money would also be on Mike finding a way to make his plane faster. :)
