VectorBoy 0 #3 December 8, 2003 It would work if you could get some military surplus MILES gear but it would have to be in exceptionally good condition as I believe most of that stuff is crap straight from the contractor. For those who are not familiar its a simple harness with small receiver nodes spaced along the webbing triggered by a sound activated lazer mounted to your rifle barrel. You would have to modify the receiver to not use a harness that would interfere with your container but instead rely on more nodes on the helmet and a couple on your wrists and ankles mounted like altis and you would have to trigger with a finger or bite switch instead of "blank blast". But the best part would have to be registering a kill. You can't hear the systems buzzer in flight so you would need smoke......Now thats a kill! Seriously, I don't know about birdman laser tag, but you could easily do something with a "dog-fight" under canopy. I saw Blake and another fella at SDO a couple years ago pop at 12,000, Blake let loose a long silver streamer on his ankle.
