CrazyIvan 0 #27 December 11, 2003 I think since is a WEB based email, servers send batches of emails, and since there are literally MILLIONS of users, this might congest the pipes sometimes, another reason, is the receiver, some of them might have issues receiving emails from anonymous (web) emailers.__________________________________________ Blue Skies and May the Force be with you. skybytch 273 #29 December 11, 2003 I use the free email here at dz.com. Works great for me. I had an issue with not receiving emails that I knew were sent and HH resolved the problem within a few hours - that's the kind of assistance you won't get from hotmail or yahoo. There is a limit on the number of addresses you can send one email to (to keep spammers from using the service to spread their disease) so it might not be the best choice if you plan to send one email to a whole list of people. The spam filters are great too. Once I set a couple of them up the amount of crap in my inbox was cut in half - I've added a few more and now I see no more than 2 or 3 spams in my inbox each day. It's also convenient to check my email without leaving dz.com... since I'm here most of the day anyway.
vdschoor 0 #30 December 11, 2003 I use Yahoo as well, but I haven't seen that problem.. what providers (AOL, CompuServe) are you sending it to? Yahoo -> Hotmail has taken a while sometimes, but overall performance is pretty good. (almost instantly) Iwan
