happythoughts 0 #28 December 11, 2003 QuoteHow come some bars are filled with gorgeous girls and others are empty? Anyone knows the answer? Those are lesbian bars. Next question. I was on a plane with a tandem who was giving us all the "I'm so macho... I do all the extreme blah, blah..." line. There was only one girl on the load and he acted surprised that girls jumped. The girl was doing a h-n-p to test drive a canopy. At 4K, she was in the door. (With her permission) We grabbed her by the grippers/legstraps and threw her out the door, screaming as she left. I turned to the guy and told him that we just use girls for winddrift indicators. "Dude, you guys are cold."

freeflygoddess 0 #30 December 11, 2003 Quotewe just use girls for winddrift indicators. sweet...I wanna be thrown out as a wind drift indicator....as long as you are paying for my jump ticket... Now as far as the girl to guy ratio, it actually is pretty even if you ask me, because in all actuality there are far less guys that skydive that want a relationship or could actually handle one...or are responsiable enough to have a family...just my two cents though. jaaska 0 #32 December 11, 2003 Although there are less women coming to jumping courses, I've noticed a pattern that those who do come tend to stick - IOW, the ratio of women starting skydiving and getting a licence is a LOT higher than the ratio of men starting skydiving and actually getting a licence... I don't have exact numbers, but I guess I could look them up at our club.

Sewing, making dinner, etc. Hmmm.. maybe they don't want to make us sad? I remember beeing on the racetrack with my motorcycle for racing instruction, and what the instructor said kind of shocked me. Women are much better motor racers, because they don't have that guy problem that they have to show off... they just do exactly what the instructor tells them to, and therefore kick the guys asses on laptimes! Guys have a tendency to have to show off "look what I can do"... and that doesn't always translate to good performance. Iwan
FrogNog 1 #35 December 11, 2003 QuoteQuoteNow, now. . .we girls could not really handle that. . .we HATE fighting over guys. . .ROFLMAO. . . i think that can be aranged. I'm sure most guys would agree to date 5 girls at a time , for the sake of not fighting for us Oof, I dated two girls at once and it had its finer points, but it wore me out. Basically you're busy dating and they get alternating days off. If you want some time to yourself, how do you explain that when they already think you have half your days to yourself? So I picked a different girl who was as good as both of them put together. But to put it more succinctly, dating 2 or more women at the same time would leave NO time for skydiving, which would be unacceptable! (The one exception would be if you dated all the women on the same nights. So, if you took the twins with the twins out to dinner, movie, and dessert together, then went skydiving the next coupla days, that would be OK. A third woman would break it because triplets never work out, you only have two arms, etc..) -=-=-=-=- Pull.

Nightingale 0 #42 December 11, 2003 I do grappling in martial arts, and a lot of guys say the same thing... "I don't want to grapple with a woman! I might put my hands in the wrong place!" its silly. If what you're doing is part of a necessary gear check, (or part of a grappling match), no reasonable woman is going to make an issue of it. I'd rather have my gear checked properly than have someone miss something because they were afraid to put their hand in the wrong place. we are usually capable of telling the difference between an accidental grab and an intentional grope. The truth is, more men skydive because women have more restraint and self control.
