PLFKING 4 #3 December 12, 2003 I like cops with a sense of humor.....I know several friends that took up law enforcement as a career, and lost their humor very quickly. I can see why, too, given the demands of the job. Don"When in doubt I whip it out, I got me a rock-and-roll band. It's a free-for-all."
skybytch 273 #4 December 12, 2003 That's freakin' funny. It's too bad the general public didn't/wouldn't get the humor...
Deuce 1 #5 December 12, 2003 The thing is, nobody who gets popped for a warrant is going to get into that car without one hell of a fight. When you tell somebody up front your going to kick their ass, most times they will hold you to it. Lots of times the police will have to transport a victim back to a group of folks, one of whom is the suspect, for an in-field line-up where the victim says "That's him, in the Raiders jacket". Problem is, after the victim's been assaulted, are they going to want to get into a police car through a door that says "We'll kick your ass"? Poor victim. "Ah, man! You're going to kick my ass too?!" Astoundingly and profoundly stupid. Stupid people are funny.

dropdeded 0 #11 December 12, 2003 Dont remember if its Lamont, or Arvin, small towns close to Bakersfield where very recently it was brought to the publics attention that for some time now, when a deputy had to use a (how to say it), a certain amount of force, to uh, put someone into custody, they where awarded the "clubbed baby seal award". A small white stuffed baby seal, with red paint splattered on its head, which was placed on the deputy's desk. dropdeded------------------------------------------ The Dude Abides. -
