souleh 0 #1 December 13, 2003 Two of my uni project deadlines that I was told were incorrect. They're now due in 3 days, from start to finish. So I explained to work that I simply cant do that in the time I had (one day off; Sunday) to complete it and that I would like the time off. They said no.. understandable, but I had to take it off anyway. I thought they'd just give me a slap on the knuckles, dock pay or something, but apparently it doesnt work like that. Turns out, even though you're punctual, have never missed a day of work, have turned up for all the overtime they have requested and been as efficient as they require and much more.. this doesnt matter. Sux that they couldn't accomodate you, but, I'm guessing that this is a "need money for school" job and not a career job - so hopefully this is all for the best.
