jumpinfarmer 0 #1 December 15, 2003 We have had about 15 inches of fluffy snow today. I've been plowing all day and haven't seen one kid out playing. When I was a kid a snowfall like this was like a gift from god. We would play for hours building forts and sliding down hills. When it got dark we still played we hung lanterns on poles so we could see. I guess maybe kids are to busy playing video games and watching TV to come outside. Maybe thats why there are so many fat kids today.

Daizey 0 #5 December 15, 2003 I know what you mean! Im home form school right now, and i tried to get my brothers out to help me build a snowman. But they are much too interested in their computer and PS2...fianlly when one was in the kitchen and the other was in the bathroom i took the power chord away form the ps2 and shut of the computer and ordered them outside. I loved playing in the snow when i was younger-I still do! Even if people look at me and my friends oddly from there dorm rooms as we are sledding down the hill on the tops to our storage bins lol *daizey*

Airborne03 0 #9 December 15, 2003 actually...some crazy way we made a drinking game into the old "caveman games" for nintendo...then we broke out the old sega genesis and played nhl hockey from 1993..which was funny in itself (we were all hockey players) "Airborne all the way" EL Cantador Rodriguez

Daizey 0 #11 December 15, 2003 yes lol. they knew if they ever wanted a shot at playing that again they'd have to go out and build that snowman. Besides, im the oldest, they have to listen to me Oh, and i am their only ticket to going anywhere since they're too young to drive...Theyve been nice ever since i came home for break.... Its sad though now. Thats all kids do now is stay inside. I hardly ever see any kids out sleigh riding anymore. Even when i babysat last week during the last storm, the kids wanted to stay indoors-what happened to having fun? *daizey*
