DShiznit 0 #1 December 16, 2003 I'm going to go see it tomorrow at 7pm. :) I saw on the news this morning that there are already people in line for the midnight showing tonight. The movie theatre is playing the triology, with the final starting at midnight..... Now that's, dedication.

Slappie 9 #3 December 16, 2003 I would love to see it at midnight tonight. Just don't think I'll make it. I have some online friends who I play Everquest with who've got tickets to see the whole trilology. That's nutz almost 7 hours of movie!! I'll have to admit tho, I've watched the first two on dvd in a row and I'll watch all three on dvd when the third is released on dvd.. CanuckInUSA 0 #4 December 16, 2003 My company is having our x-mas party tomorrow at lunch and then most of us will be heading off to the theater afterwards to watch "LOTR: Return of the King". I'm looking forward to it. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

Slappie 9 #7 December 16, 2003 QuoteI'm willing to bet that it tops $75M by the end of the weekend...... I know it's going to make alot of money.. I just wish the Academy would give awards to block buster, high budget films.. They have a history of shunning the large production high profile films as not being true to the art of film making.. Whatever, almost every person of authority on these (LoTR Trilolgy) films has an Academy Award except the Director "Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have found out the exact measure of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them." ChasingBlueSky 0 #8 December 16, 2003 Today is going to be a good day - I work for a Culinary School in Chicago - today is our "holiday" celebration. Nice big lunch for us, then our dinner gathering in the evening....everything cooked by LeCordonBleu Chefs (noice!). Then, off to watch the Chicago Bulls play the Orlando Magic (free tickets and free parking - noice)! Then off to the 12:01 showing of what should be Movie of the Year: ROTK (the tickets were purchased for me as a return favor for fixing a computer).....then finally my first day off in 12 days on Wednesday!_________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... The111 1 #14 December 16, 2003 I'm wondering if they'll release ROTK:EE next November like they've been doing. That's really my only criticism of how they're doing this entire thing. Releasing two versions of each movie purposefully. Oh well, will be great either way. Did anyone else see this?www.WingsuitPhotos.com
moodyskydiver 0 #15 December 16, 2003 I won't get to see it until this weekend. My parents and I are going to my aunt's birthday party and then my uncle bought us all tickets to see LotR:Return of the King at one of the bigger theaters around Dallas. I'm thinking about sneaking out to see it before then, but my family would have a cow. "...just an earthbound misfit, I."

skyyhi 0 #17 December 16, 2003 I am freaking out because I have to wait till the weekend to go see it. . .and I may have to go alone. . .course the alone part doesn't bother me. I have been a LOTR fan since I was a young teenager. . .I just cannot wait. So, anybody live in San Diego County or vicinity that might want to go see the movie with an old skydiver newbie? lol________________________________________ Take risks not to escape life… but to prevent life from escaping. ~ A bumper sticker at the DZ FGF #6 Darcy
